Systematic Debugging
Debug with a fixed method: reproduce, isolate, hypothesize, prove, then fix.
What it is
Systematic Debugging is a methodology skill from Superpowers. It stops shotgun edits. The agent must reproduce the bug, narrow the surface, state a falsifiable hypothesis, and only then patch. Distinct from Diagnosing Bugs, which focuses on reading symptoms in code.
Example prompt

The flaky test fails one in five runs. Use Systematic Debugging. Do not patch until you can reproduce it.
